It is time to celebrate another one of Jeremy Aaron’s milestones this month: Crawling. He was starting to get a little antsy at seven months, wanting to scoot here and there. Now, he’s doing much more, and as On has told me, if she just looks away for a second or two, Jeremy Aaron is off to the races—baby crawling races that is—zipping around the room as fast as any eight-month old can crawl.
He’s also reached a few other milestones this month: he’s sitting up on his own now, eating more solid food (he loves this special rice that On cooks for him) and he gets bored easily with his toys.
He’s become quite the social butterfly, putting a smile on everyone’s face when On takes him around the village—he’s gotten quite good at a game of patty-cake and when he leaves with On, he likes to wave goodbye.
As for his older brother, Bia, Jeremy Aaron has also gotten quite close to him and the two of them play together. He sometimes likes to joke with Bia, crawling up to Bia when he’s sleeping and waking him up to play.
After the hospital ordeal two weeks ago when On had to take him to a hospital across the Mekong River in Thailand, he is feeling much better.
