Another month has rolled around and Jeremy Aaron is seeking of bit of independence whether it’s staying up a little later or freeing himself from his baby walker to practice “walking” while holding on to a steady yet movable object.
And although he is starting to have a “mind of his own” he still has time for a lot of games, especially “Peekaboo” that according to Aon, he loves to play a lot.
Some of the milestones that he has reached this month include he can now pull himself up to a standing position from sitting down, he can stand while holding on to someone or something and he can use the “pincer grasp” holding tiny objects between his thumb and forefinger. As for his “language” or speaking ability, he’s jabbering and chattering away constantly and he is saying something that is pretty close to “mama.”
When I’ve called Aon the past couple of days, I have heard Jeremy Aaron chattering away a lot in the background. Judging from the intonation of the chattering, he is obviously quite happy about something.
Although it’s hard for Aon to decipher what his chattering means, Jeremy Aaron understands much what Aon says. For example, when he listens to Aon, he understands the meaning of “no” and responds to simple commands (such as “give Mommy the toy”).
Nine months old today and the little fellow is growing up a lot.
